The vocalists of Marked by Love are privileged to work with highly skilled musicians and also benefit from living in an area rich with willing, talented people to help out with additional instrumentation and filling in for our regulars.

Janine Elvin (nee Rayment) - Piano

Originally from Stoney Creek, Janine attends North York Temple in Toronto.  At the corps she sings alto in the Songsters when she's not accompanying.  She is also part of the worship team leadership.  Janine currently accompanies the Greater Toronto Area Community Gospel Choir, which is currently under the leadership of Major Leonard Ballantine.

Janine has a degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University (Hamilton, ON) and has privately studied piano with Evelyn Bedford and Valerie Tryon.  For many years, Janine was the accompanist for the Ontairo South Divisional Youth Chorus (later known as One in Song) and has served on music camp faculties at Camp Selkirk and Jackson's Point.

Janine currently works in the insurance industry,  has a serious knack for photography, and has been married to Doug Elvin (bass guitar) since 2002. Janine and Doug welcomed their first child, a son, in April 2009!!

Doug Elvin - Bass Guitar, Acoustic Guitar

Doug is often sought after for his talents with a bass guitar for performances and recordings, although his musical abilities extend far beyond the strings.  He has been a member of the Canadian Staff Band horn section for 13 years and has played bass guitar with a Brampton-area group "New Direction" for several years.  He is also active at his home corps North York Temple in the band and worship team.  He has been on divisional music camp faculties at Camp Selkirk and Jackson's Point, as well as on Territorial School of Music faculty.

Doug works as a contractor in the Southern Ontario area, plays a very nifty 5-string bass guitar, and has been married to Janine Elvin (piano) since 2002. Janine and Doug welcomed their first child, a son, in April 2009!!   Doug has many "hidden" musical talents and has the ability to really pull a group together.

Kevin Ketteringham - Drums, Percussion

Kevin attends Guelph Citadel and plays percussion in the Senior Band.  Kevin is also a member of the area worship band Rev3 and a local band Formula For Exemption (FFE).  While Kevin is perhaps best known for his drumming abilities, he is also an excellent guitarist and also harbours many hidden musical skills.

He was a long-time percussionist in the Ontario South Divisional Youth Band (later known as Impact Brass).  Since successfully completing paramedic program at Centennial College, Kevin has been working as a paramedic in Metro Toronto.  Kevin is married (to Erin's sister!) and drives a very cool car.
